QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelors degree in Engineering from ABET-accredited program is required. 6+ years of experience in maintenance, reliability, and/or manufacturing.
Recognized technical capability, equipment and component knowledge, and practical experience and technical capabilities in the following areas:
1) Materials: metals, plastics, elastomers, composites, coatings, etc.
2) Fabrication methods: welding, machining, surface treatment, etc.
3) Dimensional tolerances: reading prints, measuring, and specifying
4) Fastening and joining: methods and materials
5) Pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical power transmission
6) CMMS - Maximo, others
7) Tribology
8) Certified in two PdM technologies and familiarity with others (i.e. vibration, ultrasound, infrared, oil analysis, etc.).
9) Data collection systems: CIM21, MQIS, Foxboro historian, DT Analyst, etc.
10) Sanitary equipment design and installation
Demonstrated skills in the following areas:
1) Focused improvement and other formal improvement process facilitator and facilitator trainer
2) Teaching and training ability (of reliability practices relative to this level)
3) Mentoring
4) Communication: verbal and written
5) Problem solving skills (ability to identify and implement solutions)
6) Leadership
7) Interpersonal skills
8) Initiative
